Thank you Kent for creating this course. It was a game changer for me as a beginner turner. This course has really helped me understand everything there is to turning a log into a bowl and have a lot of fun along the way. It was especially helpful learning to identify good potential logs, prepare them for turning, and ways to manage the blanks and bowls to “up the odds” against cracking, warping, etc. After all, even though the logs may be free, you hate to waste them to nature’s destruction.
